The first letter (No. 1) in on frame 32 on Ancestry.com. The numbering of these letters is a little complicated. The first 565 letters are numbered sequentially and they finish on frame 117. From frame 118 onwards the Buchanans have continued to number the letters sequentially but you only see the reference to the letter's Correspondence Register Subject No. next to the letter. We have added a table below to help you find your letter. Find the nearest letter to your in the table and then count backwards or forwards to find your letter. Be casefull, some of the pages are duplicated so you may need to work forward a bit to what you expect.
